Two Seriously Injured When SUV Slams Into Wall

Two people were rushed to the hospital Sunday night when the SUV they were riding in landed on top of a wall.

The crash happened about 7:30 p.m. Sunday at the intersection of Kansas and Yandell in Central El Paso.

Police say the driver lost control of the vehicle and hit a pole. The impact caused the SUV to slam into the wall near a funeral home.

EMS dispatchers confirm two people were taken to Thomason Hospital with serious injuries.
