Hillary Clinton Coming Back To El Paso

EL PASO — New York Senator Hillary Clinton will return to the Sun City to gather supporters for Democratic Presidential Candidate Barack Obama, according to a party official.

Clinton packed the Don Haskins Center on February 13th. Back then, she was still in the thick of the presidential race, battling Obama for their party’s nomination.

El Paso County Democratic Chairman Danny Anchondo said the McCain campaign is not active in Texas because it’s considered to be safe from Obama’s reach.

Anchondo said this has not discouraged the Obama campaign from gathering more support in the Lone Star State.

“Hillary’s message since the primary is that she’s coming here to ask everybody to vote for Obama and all the democrats running for office,” said Anchondo.

The time and location of the event have not been disclosed.
