Police: Drunk Driver Caused Crash In Downtown El Paso

A driver who ran a red light caused an accident in downtown El Paso early Sunday morning.

The crash occurred a little before 1:00am at Santa Fe and Wyoming.

According to police, a driver who hadbeen drinking drove right through a red light and crashed into another car.

Even though no one was seriously injured, the impact was strong enough to cause extensive damage to the front of a large SUV and the back of a pickup truck.

Police arrested the drunk driver but did not release his name.
