PARIS (AP) — French voters face a decisive choice in the runoff Sunday of snap parliamentary elections that could produce the country’s first far-right government since the World War II Nazi occupation. Or it could leave it with no majority emerging at all. The nationalist, anti-immigration National Rally arrived ahead in the first round. Tactical maneuvers by centrist and left-wing parties aimed at reducing the National Rally’s chances of getting an absolute majority in the second round. Yet the outcome remains uncertain amid the complex voting system and political tactics. President Emmanuel Macron will remain president but might have to share power with a political opponent.
