Severe weather pounded the El Paso area this evening. Numerous outflow boundaries or gusts of winds from nearby storms contributed to the hail, gusty winds, and flooding rainfall. Most reports of hail were pea to marble size. Gusty winds, possibly upwards of 60 mph or so, were reportedly blamed for downed power lines around the Fort Bliss area. Rainfall amounts in the flooded areas, around the El Paso International Airport are estimated to be 1-1.5". We are not expected to see additional storms tonight.

Temps will begin to heat up Sunday with a high of around 106 with lots of sunshine. There will be a slight chance for a storm at 10%.
