HAZMAT crew cleaning up fuel spill from deadly tanker crash in Hudspeth County

Update: Officials tell ABC-7 that the driver died in the crash. The fuel carried in the tanker spilled into the roadway and the EPFD hazmat team helped clean it up. The highway was closed to two lanes as crews cleaned up the spill.


Update: One person is confirmed dead in the crash.

EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) -- El Paso Fire Department HAZMAT crews are on Montana Avenue in Hudspeth County cleaning up a fuel spill from a tanker.

A spokesperson posted about the incident on social media Friday afternoon.
