Man Shot In Knee Walks Into Las Cruces Hospital
LAS CRUCES, N.M. — A man who was shot in the knee walked into a Las Cruces hospital’s emergency room early Sunday morning, Dona Ana County Sheriff’s officials said.
Deputies responded to Mountain View Hospital about 2:20 a.m. after reports from emergency room staff.
The 25-year-old victim told deputies that the shooting occurred at the Butterfield Park in Butterfield but refused to provide any other information to authorities, officials said.
Sheriff’s officials believe the victim was shot by either a 9mm or a .357 magnum round.
