Teenager Arrested In Northeast For Allegedly Assaulting Officer
EL PASO, Texas — A teenager was arrested Wednesday evening in Northeast El Paso for allegedly possessing drugs and assaulting an officer, El Paso police said.
Police were called to the 5400 block of Gulfport about 6:30 p.m. Two 17-year-olds came from the side of a home and were detained when one of them allegedly became verbally and physically aggressive towards the officer, police said.
The teen who allegedly struck the officer was charged with assault on a public servant, possession of marijuana under two ounces and criminal trespass and booked on $3,100 bond.
The other teenager was arrested and charged with criminal trespass and booked on a $300 bond, police said.
