Lincoln Middle School Students Evacuated Due To Gas Line Rupture

EL PASO, Texas — Students at Lincoln Middle School in El Paso’s Upper Valley have been evacuated from the school due to a severed gas line nearby.

The students have been evacuated to Mitzi Bond Elementary for the rest of the school day, according to El Paso ISD spokeswoman Berenice Zubia. Parents can pick up their children at Bond Elementary at the regular school release time.

Three houses near the school have also been evacuated, fire officials said. A city construction crew severed the gas line.
