Amber Sullins Recognized At State Legislature For Best Weathercast Award
AUSTIN, Texas — Former ABC-7 meteorologist Amber Sullins was recognized Friday at the Texas state legislature for receivinga Best Weathercast Awardfor both2007-08 and 2008-09.
State Rep. Marisa Marquez (D-El Paso) introduced the resolution honoring Amber as “a fine meteorologist and a first-rate broadcaster.” Amber and her husband were in attendance at the state House to be recognized.
The Texas Associated Press Broadcasters awarded Amberboth Best Weathercast awardsin Texas’ Division 3.
Amber began working at ABC-7 in 2005 and recently left the station to pursue other careeropportunities.
