MISSION VALLEY POLICE CHARGE TWO IN MONDAY NIGHT BURGLARY OF TWO VEHICLES

El Paso Police officers have charged two Lower Valley men with burglary of vehicles.

Martin Lopez-Rascon, 22, of the 8700 block of Old County and Kevin Raymond Wiles, 17, of the 8900 block of Lowenstien Mission Valley Regional Command officers charge two lower valley men in burglary of vehicle cases. Officers from the Mission Valley Regional Command investigating a burglary of vehicle call in the 8900 block Gemotes have charged Martin Lopez-RASCON and Kevin WILES with burglary of vehicle. Officers saw RASCON and WILES in the act of a burglary of vehicle at 11:35 p.m Monday. As the officers approached both RASCON and WILES they exited the vehicle they were breaking into and began to walk away from the officers. The ensuing investigation revealed that RASCON and WILES had broken into a 1994 Chevy Suburban and a 1997 Chevy pick up truck. RASCON and WILES had removed electronic equipment and power tools from the Suburban prior to officers arrival and were in the process of removing items from the pick up truck when officers caught the two. Officers were able to recover all the property taken from the vehicles and both men were booked into the El Paso County Jail on charges of Burglary of vehicle two times. RASCON was booked on a bond of $1,500.00 and Wiles had a bond of $2,153.00 as he had outstanding municipal warrants.
