Boy That Nearly Drowned Over Weekend Has Died
Bailey Fincher, the 2-year-old boy who nearly drowned on Sunday, has died, according to El Paso Police officials.
He was pronounced dead at Providence Memorial Hospital just before 2 p.m. Thursday. Bailey was found unconscious in a pool by his mother on Sunday evening in the 900 block of Vereda del Valle.
The Drowning Prevention Coalition will conduct massive outreach in regards to residential and private pools in the coming summer months.
The coalition urges the community to remember there is no greater prevention or water safety tip stronger than the following: Respect the Water.
