Robberies Up In El Paso For First Time This Year

For the first time in eight months, the City of El Paso has seen an increase in robberies, according to the El Paso Police Dept.

This is the first week there has been an increase of robberies this year.

Between Jan. 1 and Aug. 1, there have been 273 reported robberies, which is up 1 percent compared to the same time last year.

Listed are the number of reported robberies for the previous four years during this time period.

The percent change is compared to the numbers of the previous year.
