Join ABC-7 and KVIA.com from 4 p.m. To 11 p.m. Today for the 17th Annual Humane Society Telethon.
We’ll be taking calls for adoptions and donations. The Humane Society is a no-kill shelter, so the money raised goes directly to the care of the animals.
The Humane Society will be open from 2 p.m. To 8 p.m. Saturday, so you’ll have plenty of time to get out there and adopt an animal. Once the telethon is over, contributions to the Humane Society don’t have to stop.
One local business is organizing an event to benefit the Humane Society long after the telethon this weekend. Linda Noack, owner of Gallery Sasahara, has invited 30 local artists to donate their pieces of art to be included in an art show with the proceeds benefiting the Humane Society.
