Manhunt Monday 04/12/10: Arturo Ledesma Enriquez

This week?s MANHUNT MONDAY Most Wanted Fugitive is an individual wanted for a violent family violence incident that occurred in December 2008. The target is ARTURO LEDESMA ENRIQUEZ (41) of El Paso, TX.

December 2008- On Sunday afternoon 12-14-08 at 2:35 PM, Sheriff’s Deputies were called to the Montana Vista Fire Station located at 13978 Montana in El Paso County, TX in reference to Aggravated Assault that had just occurred. Deputies met with a 27 year-old woman / Victim who told authorities that minutes earlier, she had been stabbed with a knife by her husband during an argument. The Victim sustained 2 puncture wounds to her chest area as a result of the stabbing & received several cuts to her hands & fingers while fending off ENRIQUEZ. The Victim managed to escape & run to a nearby residence for help. A neighbor drove the Victim to the Fire Station. The stabbing took place at the Victim?s home in the 3400 block of Liberator (Montana Vista) El Paso County, TX.

Deputies searched the area for several hours but were unable to locate ENRIQUEZ where he presumably disappeared not to be heard of again.

New information received indicates ENRIQUEZ has returned to the area as he continues eluding capture. ENRIQUEZ is wanted on the above mentioned AGGRAVATED ASSAULT incident & another unrelated family violence ASSAULT charge from an incident that occurred in August of 2008 (same Victim).
