UTEP: 2nd Bullet Found On Campus Not From Juarez Shootout
A UTEP spokeswoman has told ABC-7 that the slug of an unspent bullet found on campus was not fired from a gun and was not related to a shootout in Juarez on Saturday.
The slug was found outside the Academic Services Building this week.
UTEP officials added that no bullet holes and no damage was found on the Academic Services Building.
UTEP’s Bell Hall was hit by a bullet on Saturday and campus police said they believe that bullet did come from a shootout in Juarez that happened at about the same time. No one was injured on the UTEP campus in that incident.
