Scientists Say They Know What Dance Moves Make Men Attractive To Women

John Travolta had the moves. Justin Timberlake’s still got ’em. And Ricky Martin’s moves were enough to pack the Sun Bowl 10 years ago.

Now, scientists say they’ve pegged what makes a man a good – and attractive – dancer.

British and German researchers filmed 19 different guys dancing in 3-D and then turned their image into a genderless avatar they showed to 37 heterosexual women to ask them what they liked and didn’t like about the dancers.

Women said a ‘good’ dancer twists his neck a lot – just like Usher – and twists his torso a lot and bends his right knee.

Good dancing gives women a signal that a man has vigor and strength, and therefor, capable of successful reproduction, the scientists said.

A bad dancer is kinda stiff with not a lot of movement up top – especially in the neck.

Daniel: “So what do Sun City dance experts think? We came to Shundo Ballroom in west El Paso to find out.”

Melissa Rodriguez, owner of Shundo Ballroom said the way a man dances says a lot about him.

“I think it all about a man’s confidence,” Rodriguez said of what makes a man’s dancing attractive.

Her husband, Mando, must have had the right moves. They met while dancing.

“He made me feel like a Princess…It was love at first sight,” she said.
