Manhunt Monday 09/13/10: Arturo Blanco

This week?s MANHUNT MONDAY Most Wanted Fugitive is an individual wanted for Sexually Assaulting a 15 year-old boy back in 1995. The target is identified as ARTURO BLANCO (55) of El Paso, TX.

JULY 1995: In July 1995, a young 15 year-old boy selling newspapers in a street corner in Northeast is approached by BLANCO claiming to own a music business. BLANCO offers the boy a job & after talking to the boys mother the boy accepts. BLANCO takes the boy to his residence & proceeds to sexually assault him. BLANCO dropped off the young boy at a nearby bus stop and told him never to tell. BLANCO was arrested for the incident a short time later but was released on bail. BLANCO showed for a pre-trial hearing but absconded afterwards never reporting for another hearing. BLANCO was apparently indicted in 2000 for sexually assaulting another boy.

The young 15 year-old Victim now 30 years old, recently contacted the Sheriff?s Office and requested BLANCO be profiled on MANHUNT MONDAY to help bring closure to him for this horrific experience. According to the Victim, he has been looking for BLANCO the last 15 years to help ease his pain & make sure BLANCO doesn’t hurt any one else. There was only 1 problem ? no photos of BLANCO could be found. In recent weeks, Sheriff?s Officials located the photos.

BLANCO has not been seen in recent years. The only photos located are from the late 1980?s. According to the Victims re-collection, BLANCO had lost most of his hair during the time he encountered him.

BLANCO has remained on the run all these years eluding capture. He is wanted for the offenses of AGGRAVATED SEXUAL ASSAULT OF A CHILD & SEXUAL ASSAULT amongst other unrelated drug & weapon charges.
