Crimes, Incidents Down At UTEP-Memphis Game Compared To Previous Game

Just days after UTEP administrators made changes to the rules for tailgating on campus, crimes and incidents on campus for the UTEP vs. Memphis game dropped significantly compared to the previous week.

Among the changes to the tailgating rules were: Tailgating started on inner-campus two hours later, generators and music with amplified speakers were no longer allowed.

There were nearly 50 percent less crimes and incidents reported at the UTEP vs Memphis game compared to the UTEP vs. New Mexico State University game.

The following activity occurred or was reported to state and local law enforcement agencies in conjunction with the UTEP vs. Memphis football game on Saturday, Sept. 25, 2010.
