Man Shoots Relative In Northeast El Paso

A shooting in northeast El Paso has left on person in critical condition at University Medical Center. Authorities said the shooting happened just before 1 a.m. Saturday on the 6200 block of Arch Bridge.

According to police, Johnelle Lionetti, 25, and Octavia Lionetti, 23, were in their home arguing prior to the shooting. Investigators said they believe that Octavia Lionetti was trying to leave the residence when she was shot.

When officers arrived at the scene, they said they found Octavia Lionetti bleeding on the floor with gunshot wounds to her left arm and right leg. Police said the injuries did not appear to be life-threatening.

Police said they arrested and charged Johnelle Lionetti with criminal attempted murder. He was booked in to the El Paso County Detention Facility on $25,000 bond.
