Wind gusts will keep the air feeling below freezing, though. Peak gusts of around 35 mph are expected primarily in west El Paso in the hours between 6 p.m. and 3 a.m.

The temperature for Thursday morning is expected to reach 1 degree by around 7 a.m. “Doppler” Dave says the wind chill will make it feel about -15 degrees.
