Thursday Closures and Delays
Sun Metro’s fixed-route service and LIFT, paratransit service, are running a regular schedule with sporadic delays caused by road conditions. As always, Sun Metro passengers are asked to please have patience as drivers work through the icy conditions. The public is asked to please be courteous to Sun Metro buses and fellow commuters to help prevent unnecessary accidents and anxiety. All GECU branches and drive-throughs will open at 11:30am
El Paso International Airport- They continue to have cancelations for Chicago and American flights both in and outbound. United is also canceling their Chicago flights. Three afternoon Continental flights have been canceled. Southwest flights from Dallas Love Airport still having problems as well. American flights to Chicago are canceled.
GARBAGE COLLECTION IN EL PASO: Trash collection is being done today, according to city’s environmental services.
GARBAGE COLLECTION IN LAS CRUCES: No service Thursday. Service will resume Friday and extend in to Saturday
