Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show Starts Monday; 6 New Breeds Added

The 135 Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show will get underway Monday night and this year’s show will feature six new breeds.

The new breeds are: Boykin Spaniel(Sporting Group), Bluetick Coonhound, REDBONE COONHOUND (Hound Group), Cane Corso (Working Group), Leonberger (Working Group), and Icelandic Sheepdog (Herding Group).

For the fifth year, Wynn Las Vegas posted betting odds on the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show. The odds for breeds, not specific dogs, and proposition bets are listed “for entertainment purposes only” by John Avello, Executive Director of Race & Sports for Wynn. Bets are not actually taken.
