Man Manages To Cross River After Being Shot In Juarez
El Paso police officials said a man shot in Juarez Sunday morning managed to escape across the border.
According to police, Border Patrol agents found the man around 11:30 a.m. near La Hacienda on the 1700 block of Paisano.
Officials said he was taken to an El Paso hospital.
The man’s name has not been released nor has information about his citizenship.
ABC-7’s media partners in Juarez, Channel 44, said the man was driving with his family in Juarez when they were attacked.
According to Channel 44, the man’s wife — a woman in her 50s known as ‘La Colombiana’ — was killed in the gunfire.
The couple’s 12-year-old son was reportedly unharmed.
