Elementary School In Sunland Park, NM Locked Down; Children Escorted By Police When School Let Out
Correction: Originally this report had a different school that was on lockdown based on information from district and police officials
Riverside Elementary in Sunland Park, New Mexico in the Gadsden Independent School District was placed on lockdown this afternoon.
Sunland Park Police and school district officials refused to elaborate on reason for lockdown but said it was being done for precautionary reasons. Police escorted children out of school when classes let out this afternoon.
