El Paso has been named among the sweatiest, the fattest, the drunkest and most illiterate cities in the U.S. over the years by various publications and studies.
But we could always hang our hat on being one of the friendliest cities – until now.
Foursquare, a social media tool that allows people to show their friends where they are at any given moment, begs to differ and says El Paso is the second rudest city in the world. Manchester in the United Kingdom took the number one spot.
The company ran a query “to find the city with the rudest citizens, judged by how often a tip left in that city contains a curse word.”
A tip is a comment on a place in Foursquare.
