C-USA Tournament Sun Metro Schedule

Fans planning to attend the Conference USA basketball games Wednesday, March 9, through Saturday, March 12, can avoid battling traffic and struggling to find parking by riding Sun Metro.

Spectators can park at the Union Plaza Transit Terminal (UPTT), 400 W. San Antonio, and board Sun Metro’s SMART 101. Parking at the UPTT is $5 Wednesday through Thursday. UPTT parking is $5 on Friday and Saturday until 6 p.m.; after 6 p.m. parking is $10.

Eastside residents can park for free at the Eastside Transit Terminal, 1165 Sunmount, board Route 59 and transfer onto SMART 101 (Bay 15) at the Bert Williams Downtown Transfer Center.

Westside residents can park for free at the Al Jefferson Westside Transfer Center, 7535 Remcon, board Route 18 and transfer onto SMART 101 (Bay 15) at the Bert Williams Downtown Transfer Center.

Northeast residents can park for free near the Northgate Terminal, 9348 Dyer, board Route 42 and transfer onto SMART 101 (Bay 15) at the Bert Williams Downtown Transfer Center.

Mission Valley residents can park for free at the Nestor A. Valencia Transfer Center, 9065 Alameda, board Route 3 and transfer onto SMART 101 (Bay 15) at the Bert Williams Downtown Transfer Center.

SMART 101 will drop off at the new Glory Road Transfer Center near the Don Haskins Special Events Center.

Fans also can plan out their bus ride online using Google Transit’s Trip Planner by visiting www.elpasotexas.gov/sunmetro OR call (915)533-3333 to talk to a customer service representative.

Sun Metro bus fare is $1.50 per trip, per person. Bus fare for students and children between the ages of 5 and 18 is $1 per trip with a valid student or state ID. Children 5 and under ride free, and must be accompanied by an adult.

RIDERS ARE REMINDED TO HAVE EXACT CHANGE FOR ALL SUN METRO FAREBOXES. While the farebox can issue change cards, drivers do not have access to currency.

If you plan to transfer buses, be sure to request a transfer card from the driver upon boarding the first bus to obtain a FREE transfer, otherwise you will be charged the full fare when you board the second bus.

If the basketball game goes into overtime, the routes will be extended to help fans gets home. The public is reminded that the service frequencies are estimates and there may be delays due to traffic congestion.

Before boarding the bus, riders are reminded of the following tips and policies:

-Make sure you have your game tickets BEFORE you get on board

-Food or beverages are NOT permitted on the bus

-Boarding for return trips will be at the same drop-off location
