Canadian police say stabbing suspect shot dead by police in Vancouver

VANCOUVER, British Columbia (AP) — Police say a stabbing suspect is dead after being shot by police in the Canadian city of Vancouver in a convenience store. Vancouver Police say the suspect has died in hospital. Authorities say two people suffered injuries that are not thought to be life threatening. Vancouver Police Constable Tania Visintin says one person was stabbed in the hand and another person has facial injuries, but she didn’t how how the second person was injured. Witnesses say a man stole liquor and a knife from a restaurant then used the weapon across the street to stab people in a 7-Eleven store.
