Deadly Hit & Run Update, Police Looking For Chevy Avalanche
El Paso police have released a description of the vehicle they say was involved in a deadly hit and run crash Thursday night.
A man was killed around 10:40 p.m. on the 2000 block of Paisano, near Bowie High School in south El Paso.
Investigators are looking for a white Chevy Avalanche, model year 2002-2006. The vehicle would have damage to the front left side and a broken fog light cover.
Police said the operator of the vehicle drove away without stopping to help. An emergency crew in the area found the man’s body in the roadway. Officials say the man was already dead. Investigators add the man was in his mid 40s.
