Neon Desert Music Festival Releases Map, Music Schedule

Four stages, 29 bands, local food vendors and artist booths will take over Cleveland Square Park and San Jacinto Plaza.
The outdoor festival in its first year has been aided by sponsorships, City approval and a grassroots promotional push rarely seen in El Paso?s arts and music communities.
Bands range from huge, internationally known headliners to local upstarts. Top names include MSTRKRFT, CSS, the Omar Rodriguez Lopez Group and Kinky; meanwhile, locals were cherry-picked from among the best of El Paso?s live music scene.
?We?re not trying to be Austin City Limits Fest or South By Southwest,? said Zach Paul of Splendid Sun Productions, the planning organization also founded by Gina Martinez and Brian Chavez. ?If it ever happens to be like that year and years down the road, great.?
