5 Arrested, Gun Recovered After West El Paso Fight

Five men were arrested and a gun was recovered following an early morning fight in west El Paso, according to police.

Investigators said an off-duty officer spotted the brawl around 2:18 a.m. in a parking lot area near Mesa Street and University Avenue.

The suspects were detained on charges ranging from outstanding traffic warrants to Unlawful Carrying of a Weapon.

Police said a .40 caliber pistol was found in the pants pocket of one of the suspects.

Information on the individuals arrested and their charges are as follows:

– Calvin Hart, 26, of Fort Bliss (Unlawful Carrying of a Weapon charge)

– Brandon White, 22, of Fort Bliss (Disorderly Conduct charge)

– Anthony Martin, 22, of the 5800 block of Invader (Disorderly Conduct & 7 outstanding traffic warrants)

– Richard Gray, 21, of Las Cruces (Interference with Public Duties charge)

– Marquette Williams, 19, of the 11600 block of James Watt (Disorderly Conduct, 2 counts)
