Americas Running Back Commits to Boise State
Americas running back Jack Fields verbally committed Thursday to play football at Boise State. Fields is considered one of the top football players in El Paso. He says he had offers from UTEP, New Mexico State, New Mexico, Texas A&M, San Diego State, Rice and a number of other programs. Last season he rushed for 1,657 yards and 18 touchdowns. Fields, an incoming senior, says Boise State felt like home when he visited and he’s excited to join a team that has a tradition of winning. He will sign his national letter of intent in February.
