The Western Athletic Conference office and ESPN recently announced that for the third consecutive season the New Mexico State volleyball team is scheduled to play on ESPNU, Wednesday, Oct. 12 at 8 p.m. in Las Cruces, N.M.
The Aggies will take on Hawai?i on ESPNU in the Pan American Center for the second-straight year while playing on the national network for the third consecutive year.
?This is great exposure for both teams and it is always an exciting match when the Aggies take on Hawai?i? head coach Mike Jordan said. ?We are looking forward to playing on national television again and our fans are perfect for television because of the great support they give.?
NM State actually played on ESPNU twice in 2009 defeating Fresno State (Oct. 22, 2009) and losing to Hawai?i in the WAC Tournament Championship. The Wahine also defeated the Aggies in 2010 on ESPNU.
