Water Main Break Leaves 300 Customers Without Water

A water main break in Northeast El Paso left 300 customers without water for about 14 hours, according to El Paso Water Utilities.

Spokeswoman Christina Montoya said the break happened at about two Saturday morning near Dyer and Angora Loop and water was turned back on at about 4:30 that afternoon.

Because the water takes a while to flow normally, some customers didn’t have their water service restored until 6 Saturday evening.

Montoya said the utility is still looking into the cause of the water main break.
