Police Investigating Northeast El Paso Stabbings

El Paso police tell ABC-7 that they responded to two separate stabbing incidents early Saturday morning.

The first happened at around 12:40 a.m.

Investigators said they were called to a convenience store on the 9600 block of McCombs.

When emergency crews arrived, they said they found a 22-year-old man with a stab wound to the upper torso.

Police said the victim told them he was at a gathering nearby when a fight broke out and he was stabbed.

The man, whose name has not been released, was able to get to the store for help and was taken to University Medical Center for treatment.

Later, at around 2:15 a.m., police were called to a large fight between two groups in the parking lot of ‘Club 54’ on the 4800 block Rutherford, near Dyer Street.

Investigators said two people were stabbed in the altercation.

Both were hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries, according to authorities.

Police said no arrests have been made in either incident.
