Between 2007 and 2011, programs funded by Komen El Paso Affiliate grants provided:

5,012 mammograms 2,286 clinical breast exams 670 patients with breast cancer surgery and treatment assistance 1,594 wigs to breast cancer patients 2,446 roundtrip rides to breast cancer-related medical treatments and appointments

2011-2012 Komen Community Grant Recipients

In 2011, a total of $372,290 was awarded to eight local organizations and educational institutions in El Paso County ? programs ranging from education, outreach, screening mammograms and diagnostics to surgeries, treatment, oncology services, transportation, image enhancing head coverings and post mastectomy camisoles.
