ABC-7 Forecast for Friday, December 16th, 2011

A cold front pushed through the Borderland last night, creating strong winds and cooler temperatures this morning. The winds are expected to die down beginning tonight after sunset.

Temperatures today will stay in the lower 50s with partly cloudy skies.

The chance for rain returns beginning Sunday as a storm system off the California coastline begins its trek towards the Desert Southwest. The rain will stick around through Monday morning, then another cold front will by pass by later that night.
