Woman In Her 70s Hospitalized After Being Hit By Sun Metro Bus
Police said a woman who was only described as being Hispanic and in her 70s was hospitalized after being hit by a Sun Metro bus in Downtown El Paso.
The woman was struck while she was in the crosswalks shortly after 1 p.m. Monday at Stanton Street and Texas Avenue. Investigators confirmed that she had the light to cross.
The woman was taken to University Medical Center with serious injuries.
Police said no charges have been filed against the Sun Metro bus driver, but that the investigation continues.
