Police: Man Stabbed Outside Alamogordo Walmart

Officials with the Alamogordo Department of Public Safety said a 25-year-old man was stabbed at an Alamogordo Walmart parking lot just after 10:30 p.m. Sunday.

Officers arrived at the Gerald Champion Regional Medical Center in response to a man with multiple stab wounds.

An investigation by police revealed that a fight broke out in the parking lot with the victim being attacked by an unknown man.

Police said the man drove off in a dark-colored mid-size vehicle.

The attacker is described as a Hispanic man who is approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall with a stocky build, wearing a light-colored shirt and was in the company of a Caucasian female who is approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall with a medium to heavy build with blonde or light brown hair.

The investigation is still continuing and anyone with information on the incident to call ADPS Detective Jack Jackson at (575) 439-4300 ext. 124 or Crime Stoppers at (575) 437-2000.
