Four-Year-Old Boy Run Over By Neighbor

A four-year-old boy is dead after being runover run over near his home in far east El Paso.

It happened shortly after 1 p-m on the 29-hundred block of Nancy Mcdonald.

El Paso police have already confirmed the person hit in this accident is a 4 year-old boy. They tell us it happened when a nearby neighbor of the child was backing in to driveway in a pick-up truck. The boy reportedly walked behind the truck and was hit.

Police are still investigating the accident. They haven’t released any information about that neighbor at this time. They have not said if he or she will be facing any charges. They said they are going to be talking to neighbors and possible witnesses.

El Paso Police spokesman Javier Sambrano did issue a reminder about the importance of being aware and taking precaution with kids in driveway.
