Manhunt Monday 03/05/12: Edgar Garcia

This week?s MANHUNT MONDAY Most Wanted Fugitive is an individual sought for a violent AGGRAVATED ASSAULT / BURGLARY OF HABITATION incident that took place in February 2012. The target has been identified as EDGAR GARCIA (23) of El Paso, TX .

FEBRUARY 2012 On Sunday 02-26-12, Deputies were called to a local hospital regarding an assault that occurred in East El Paso County, TX. Deputies met with the Victim (a 29 year-old woman) who told Deputies that on this date at about 4:30 PM, an acquaintance identified as EDGAR GARCIA arrived to her home unexpectedly, entered her home through a back door without her consent & proceeded to assault her. GARCIA left the residence in possession of the Victims cell phone as another struggle ensued when the Victim attempted to retrieve her phone. GARCIA attempted to drive off as the Victim hung on to his car causing her to fall to the ground. The Victim suffered several lacerations and other non-life threatening injuries as a result of the incident. Charges have since been filed along with a Protective Order for the Victim against EDGAR GARCIA.

EDGAR GARCIA knows he is wanted & has been eluding capture for a little over 2 weeks. He is believed to remain in the Borderland hiding with friends & family.
