Cathedral High Athletes Sign With Ivy League And JUCO, Basketball Player Honored
El Paso– Three Cathedral High School athletes have signed commitment letters to conitnue their playing careers at the collegiate level.
Joshua Tovar signed to play football at Valley City University while Jonathan McKay and George Don Martin III are persuing baseball after graduation.
The left handed Martin signed at Ivy League’s Columbia University in New York while the center fielder McKay received an 80% scholarship to play at Otero Junior College in La Junta, CO.
Mason Zuniga became the first basketball player to receive Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools (TAPPS) First Team all-state honors for the Irish.
