WALK INFORMATION

All well-behaved leashed pets are welcomed. The Park regulations require that your pet be leashed and under control at all times. You will need to clean up after your pal (clean up bags will be provided). All dogs must have a current city license/rabies vaccination: we ask owners to bring the number with them. At the discretion of the walk director or the veterinarian, pets whose behavior is unruly or might prove hazardous may be requested to leave the premises. Small animals must have a crate on hand. Rescues/groups, will have many adoptable pets.Take some time and view ALL the homeless pets! You may fall in love and find a new family member! We also will be providing micro-chipping for $20 (including tax). Cash only day of event.

If you think your pet may become stressed, please consider doing the walk on its behalf.

EVENT INFORMATION The 23rd Annual K-9 Classic ?Save a Life, Walk a Pet? is a Celebration of Companionship. The ?Pet Social? of the year. A one-mile walk for ALL pets at Eastwood Park. Bring your family and friends and join the excitement. Contests, prizes, share your favorite pet stories! The FUNdraiser for YOU and YOUR pets. For your pet?s safety read the special requirements on the form. For everyone?s comfort, please be courteous and responsible by bringing plastic bags to clean up after your pet.

Entry Fee: $25 w/one pet and $5 for each additional pet

Day of Event Registration: $30 w/one pet and $5 for each additional pet

Registration includes: An official K-9 Classic T-shirt & Goody Bag

Only one t-shirt will be given for the first 300 registrations. Additional shirts are $5 each.

Raising money for our Best Friends is the primary goal of this event. Raise $60 or more and be eligible for prize drawings. Start collecting Pledges today! The more money you raise the more that goes to help the animals surrendered to us for their care. Each year the Humane Society of El Paso cares for over 6,000 homeless animals. Together we can change lives four paws at a time.

Come support the Humane Society and enjoy some food from Greyt Catering & BBQ! They will be selling lunch!

TEAMS Last year was our first time having ?Team Registration?. Not only did we get more people to attend, but we collected so much more in donations! This is a great way to walk as a group and support the Humane Society. All you need is 5 people or more and a unique name for your team!! If registering as a team, each participant only has to pay $20 for themselves with one pet. PET FIRST AID A Veterinarian will be present for animal emergencies. Water for dogs will be served community bowl style.
