Police: Man Breaks Into KTSM-KDBC News Truck — Twice
A man accused of stealing a television monitor from a local TV station’s live-news truck was arrested after police said he returned and re-entered the truck more than two hours later.
Police say 33-year-old Ricardo Norez broke into a news truck parked in the rear of the KDBC-KTSM station and removed a 20-inch monitor about 12:30 a.m. Thursday.
Two hours later, police said, returned and re-entered the truck.
Norez was spotted a short distance away. He was arrested on suspicion of burglary of a vehicle. He was booked into the El Paso County Jail with bond set at $15,000.
