UTEP, EPCC students take part in National Voter Registration Day

Today is National Voter Registration Day. Every fourth Tuesday in September is set aside to let potential voters know that they can register for upcoming elections.

A group called Texas Rising is concentrating their registration efforts on young voters, particularly those on college campuses.

Texas Rising had tables set up today to register students at UTEP and all El Paso Community College campuses.

Sabrina Bustillos from UTEP and Rocio Fierro-Perez from EPCC appeared on ABC-7 at Four to talk about the efforts to register students to vote in upcoming elections.
