Franklin Crushes Socorro

Thursday night at the SAC it was the District 1-5A opener between Franklin and Socorro.

The Franklin Cougars offense was in high gear as they routed Socorro 50-14 Thursday night.

Franklin wasted little time scoring. On the team’s first series QB Cameron Candelaria connected with Michael Coleman for a 20 yard pitch and catch to put the Cougars up 7-0.

After jumping out to a 21-0 lead, Socorro got on the board when QB Adam Chavira snuck one in from ten yards out for his team’s first score.
