Man killed in East-Central El Paso, police looking for hit-and-run driver
Update: Investigators have located the commercial vehicle and driver in this case. However the driver of the Lexus has not been found yet and assistance is needed in locating him as he is a witness to a death. The Lexus is described as a pearl white colored car with cream colored bottom rockers. The driver of the Lexus is described as a Hispanic male, 25 to 27 years of age, large build, approximately 6-feet in height, weighing more than 200lbs., short hair, clean cut, and last seen wearing a black muscle shirt. The wreck happened at about 2 a.m. at the intersection of Airway and Boeing just south of the airport.
Officers at the scene told ABC-7’s David Concha it all started with a fender bender.
The driver of a blue Ford F-150 exited his vehicle and the driver of the other vehicle struck him while driving away from the scene, according to officers.
The man died at the scene. Police said they do not have a description of the other vehicle involved in the wreck.
