ABC-7 First Alert – Some storms early Thursday, then drier air arrives Friday through the weekend.

The west side of El Paso got hit with the heaviest rain on Wednesday afternoon and evening. Some areas picked up nearly one inch of rain in spots.

There will be a slight chance for storms early Thursday but rain chances drop to around 30%.

I expect temps to rapidly increase Friday and the holiday weekend. Highs will climb to around 100 degrees.
