El Paso planning for the border’s future

Borderland leaders met today to plan for the future of El Paso's border construction, policy and more.

One of today's focuses included adding lanes to the Bridge of the Americas. County Judge Ricardo Samaniego told ABC-7 it will reduce line sizes and wait times to cross into Juarez. Leaders are also preparing for economic benefits.

The strategic plan is expected to be completed late next year.
