ABC-7 First Alert: Afternoon/evening showers and thunderstorms expected Labor Day Weekend

Our ABC-7 First Alert continues for the chance of storms in the Borderland. We saw spotty storms this afternoon and we are tracking lingering storms this evening and overnight. Today, El Paso only rose to 94 degrees... Las Cruces rose to 88, very nice today.

Tomorrow and Labor Day, we will see rounds of scattered thunderstorms in the Borderland. Behind this, rain chances taper off a bit and the Borderland will experience a late Summer cooldown where we could see highs in the 80s and low 90s this coming week.
